Tekken 7 console release heading west in 2016 – report

Bandai Namco aims to bring Tekken 7 to consoles worldwide next year, according to a new report.

VG247points to a report by Spanish publication Koi Nya, which cites company marketing manager David Fraile at Madrid Games Week.

According to the site, Fraile said fans of the fighting game series can expect a western console launch in 2016.

Tekken 7 launched in Japanese arcades this past March. Beyond Fraile’s statement, there’s been no official confirmation from Bandai Namco when the game will come to consoles within or outside of Japan.
