Tenchu 4 aims for Wii

French publisher Ubisoft has confirmed that it is to publish Acquire’s upcoming ninja stealth romp Tenchu 4 on Wii in both North America and Europe some time next year,

IGN

reports.

Tenchu 4 will be the first title in the series to be developed by Acquire since PlayStation title Tenchu 2 in 2000 – the five instalments that have been released in the interim have been handled by either K2 or From, with the last title, Xbox 360 exclusive Tenchu Z, being developed by the latter.

The upcoming Wii title will unsurprisingly take advantage of Wii’s motion sensing controls, and promises to offer over 10 missions and 50 side quests.
