TGS: Now Tekken 6 makes move to Xbox 360

As part of its conference at the Tokyo Games Show, Microsoft has confirmed that Namco Bandai’s Tekken 6 will be released simultaneously on both Xbox 360 and PS3 in autumn 2009.

Tekken is a long-standing PlayStation exclusive, having made its name on Sony’s first machine. However, following Square Enix’s decision to release Final Fantasy XIII on Xbox 360 rumours abound concerning other possible franchises that might make the move to Microsoft’s machine.

In more Xbox 360, it was also confirmed that a sequel to Phantagram and Q Entertainment’s N3: Ninety-Nine Nights is in development for Xbox 360. It is not yet known whether legendary developer Tetsuya Mizuguchi, who was the producer of the first outing, will be involved in the sequel.
