The Division claims third UK No.1

Ubisoft’s online shooter The Division is at the top of the UK Top 40 once again.

The new IP holds this position in spite of a 35 per cent decline in sales over last week. This is the game’s third UK No.1, and the longest a Ubisoft title has held the top spot since 2014’s Watch Dogs.

EA’s UFC 2 holds No.2 with just a 51 per cent decline in sales – much lower than the average Week One drop off in sales.

Third place is taken by another Ubisoft title – Far Cry Primal – which saw a sales spike of 132 per cent due to retailer promotions, and rose two places.

Star Wars Battlefront shoots up from No.18 to seventh place with sales rising 319 per cent. This is due to retailer promotions, and could also be helped by the recent launch of its DLC.

Below is the Top Ten for the week ending March 26th:

1. The Division, Ubisoft
2. UFC 2, EA
3. Far Cry Primal, Ubisoft
4. FIFA 16, EA
5. Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Activision
6. Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar
7. Star Wars Battlefront, EA
8. LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, Warner Bros
9. Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2, EA
10. Rainbow Six: Siege, Ubisoft
