TV quiz show based on Zynga’s Draw Something coming to Channel 4

A new quiz show based on Zynga’s Draw Something IP is to be aired in the UK on Channel 4.

The TV channel has signed Victory Television as the producer of the series, which is being made with input from IP holders Zynga. Sony Pictures has international distribution rights to the programme.

The show will pitch two teams against one another, each of which will include one member of the public and one celebrity, in three rounds of drawing challenges against the clock.

The triumphant contestant will then join forces with both celebs in the final round to try and grab the cash prize – failure will see the total rolled over into the next show.

"We’re very excited to work with Channel 4 to produce a brand new show inspired by one of the biggest hits in app history to date,” Victory Television MD Victoria Ashbourne said.

There’s a creative side to everyone, sometimes more obvious than others, and the show will really tap into that with a race against the clock and plenty of humour."
