Ubisoft releases new, even more demanding Watch Dogs PC specs

A revised version of the minimum and recommended specs for the PC version of Watch Dogs have been released by Ubisoft.

And the fact is that they’re even more demanding than the apparently rubbished list that appeared last week.

The Minimum specs require a quad core CPU – specifically either an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 at 2.66Ghz or an AMD Phenom II X4 940 at 3Ghz. GPU dictates a minimum of a GTX 460 or Radeon HD 5850 with at least 1GB of VRAM and a somewhat sizable 6GB of system RAM.

The Recommended specs are even more demanding, specifying either a multithreaded quad core Intel i7-3770 at 3.5Ghz or eight core AMD FX-8350 at 4Ghz. 2GB of VRAM is also required along with 8GB of system RAM.

The game still requires a 64-bit OS, be that in Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 flavours.

There are no longer any official Ultra specs – which, incidentally were the ones that caused all the fuss last week.
