US: DSi XL sells 141k

As part of NPD’s US market stats last week, it has been revealed that Nintendo’s DSi XL sold 141k units in March, Gamasutra reports.

Note, too, that the machine was not launched until March 28th, meaning that that number was sold in just four days. Total DS sales for March, including all sales of the DS in its various guises, hit 700k.

The XL is Nintendo’s fourth iteration of its DS hardware line and boasts two huge screens, a larger stylus and integrated memory.

There’s no word yet on the machine’s UK performance to date. It was launched here on March 5th.
