Deep Silver has released a teaser video for Dead Island: Riptide.
Like the controversial 2011 video for the original Dead Island, the short – called ‘When All Hope Is Lost’ – chooses to focus on the emotional aspect of a zombie apocalypse. Although this time there aren’t any dead children.
"Furious monsoon rainstorms have laid waste to the island of Palanai in the Banoi archipelago, waters have risen and caused a flood disaster,” the press blurb reads.
Because of this and the raging zombie invasion, a rescue mission for the survivors seems to be without prospect of success. All hope seems to have been lost for the surviving humans."
The game is due out on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC some time in 2013.
