VIDEO: Tekken 7 heading to PS4

Bandai Namco has revealed Tekken 7 will receive a worldwide console release on PS4, with the publisher teasing unspecified support for PlayStation VR as well.

The console version was unveiled as part of Sony’s PlayStation Paris Games Week event. Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada said the PS4 port will be the most content-complete edition of the game, adding that what’s included will plesae PlayStation fans.” The fighting game launched at arcades in Japan earlier this year.

SCEE CEO Jim Ryan further announced that Tekken 7 will carry unspecified support for Sony’s virtual reality platform PlayStation VR, though details are sparse for now.

Bandai Namco’s announcement confirms previous reports that the game would receive awestern console release in 2016. That said, there’s no official word on a release window at this time.
