What’s Out Today? w/e March 9th, 2012

BioWare’s critically acclaimed sci-fi trilogy comes to a climax today with the release of Mass Effect 3.

The action RPG sees players rallying the entire galaxy to fend off the invasion from an ancient alien race. Those who have played the original Mass Effect and its sequel will finally be able to experience the consequences of the choices they made in the earlier games.

Meanwhile, history is made in the fighting genre as the two biggest beat ’em ups clash in Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken. Namco Bandai is working on the follow-up, Tekken X Street Fighter.

Also out this week is Asura’s Wrath (Capcom), The Sims 3: Showtime (EA) and Unit 13 (Sony).
