Xbox One ‘Season Pass Guarantee’ offers 360 DLC rollover

Microsoft has introduced the Season Pass Guarantee program, allowing players to receive Xbox 360 DLC on Xbox One.

The program lets Xbox Live users move any season pass content purchased on Xbox 360 over to Xbox One, provided they own the game on both consoles.

The company confirmed in its announcement on Xbox Wire that EA and Activision have already signed on for Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts, respectively.

Sony has yet to officially reveal a similar system for its PlayStation line, but for what it’s worth: the two publishers recently revealed that the aforementioned titles will share season pass content from current-gen to next-gen systems – including both Xbox 360 to Xbox One and PS3 to PS4.
