Artificial intelligence used in military situations coming to Unity 5

AI suite MASA Life to be showcased at GDC

MASA Group has announced it will be showcasing the latest version of its Life AI suit at the Game Developers Conference this week.

The Group specialises in cutting-edge artificial intelligence, having previous provided software to Homeland Security, the military, and other markets, such as emergency management and healthcare.

Life v.110 enables a wide range of behaviours in non-player characters using decision and spatial reasoning, and navigation modules. It has already been used in various military 3D simulations.

It is available as a pre-integrated plug-in for Unity 5 and VBS3, the simulation version of Bohemia Interactive’s Arma III.

MASA has also released an SDK that integrates Life into other game engines. You can find out more about Life as MASA’s booth – No.843 – at the GDC Expo.
