Neither Fallout 4 nor Skyrim: Special Edition will feature user-created content

Bethesda cancels PS4 mods, blames Sony

It now seems that mod support will not be coming to the PS4 version of Fallout 4 after all.

Mod support for the game has been incoming for some time, although its failed appearance thus far has been blamed on a few rumoured reasons. Last we heard was simply that the whole thing had been delayed.

Now Bethesda has more squarely placed the blame at Sony’s feet.

“After months of discussion with Sony, we regret to say that while we have long been ready to offer mod support on PlayStation 4," the company said.
