Bill Mooney to keynote at GDC Canada

Zynga VP and Farmville general manager Bill Mooney has been confirmed as the opening keynote speaker for GDC Canada 2010.

Mooney, previously a producer at LucasArts, will deliver a speech entitled ‘Building Social Games: Games at the Speed of Light.’

Other confirmed speakers include Ubisoft’s 3D technical lead Stephen Hill delivering a talk on rendering lessons learned in Splinter Cell: Conviction, and Virtual Currencies GM Jason Bailey speaking on the relationship between social and viral gaming.

Finally, Ubisoft Vancouver senior tools programmer Jeremy Walker is confirmed to talk on developing tools for content authoring.
