Chief of Tomb Raider studio departs after a decade on the team

Darrell Gallagher leaves Crystal Dynamics

The head of Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics is leaving the studio after ten years with the company.

Darrell Gallagher was also Square Enix’s head of product development and Western studios where in the last year he has overseen the release of Western-made titles such as Life is Strange, Just Cause 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Gallagher is replaced by two current Crystal Dynamics employees who will both serve as co-studio heads – Ron Rosenberg and Scot Amos. They apparently took over a few months ago in a transition that the studio describes as “seamless”.
