EAâ??s Swedish studio and developer of Battlefield seemingly dislikes association with casual market

DICE: “We’re not a casual developer”

EA-owned Swedish developer DICE is seemingly no fan of the casual sector, with the producer of the studio’s upcoming free-to-play online outing Battlefield Heroes insisting that the outfit “isn’t going casual”.

The remarks come ahead of the release of the firm’s most casual-orientated Battlefield title yet and shortly after the announcement of a brand new download-only outing for the series, Battlefield 1943.
