SOUTH AFRICA: Capcom appoints new distributor

Capcom has appointed Nu Metro Interactive as the sole distributor of its titles in South Africa.

The agreement is effective immediately and will see Nu Metro Interactive be responsible for the distribution, sales and marketing for Capcom’s releases in this territory.

Nu Metro Interactive will launch the distribution relationship with the highly anticipated Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5 which are scheduled for release on PS3 and 360 on February 20th and March 13th respectively.

The firm will also handle Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop due for release for the Nintendo Wii on February 27th.

In addition, Nu Metro Interactive will handle distribution for MotoGP on Wii and Neopets Puzzle Adventure scheduled for release on the Wii, DS and PC.
