Double Fine’s Brad Muir joining Valve

Brad Muir has announced he is leaving Double Fine Productions for a new role at Valve.

As has become common these days, the move was announced via Twitter, with Muir first confirming he was departing from Tim Schafer’s studio and later teasing his new role.

Muir leaves Double Fine after 12 years. During his time at the studio, he served as lead developer on Iron Brigade and Kickstarter success Massive Chalice.

There’s no word on what his new position will be at Valve, but Muir has assured Twitter followers that he will still be involved in games development.
