Valve shooter coming to PSN, XBLA, PC and Mac

E3 2012: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive gets August release

The latest instalment in Valve’s popular multiplayer shooter has been slated for an August 21st release date.

The title will be released on PSN, XBLA and Steam – for PC and Mac – and will be sold for $15 on all platforms.

CS:GO will feature updated maps such as the classic De_Dust, as well as new locations and weapons.

The game has been co-developed by Seattle-based studio Hidden Path Entertainment.

The latest Counter-strike, currently in beta, will be playable at Sony and Microsoft’s booths during E3.
