Team of 14 working on title for PS4, Xbox One and PC

E3 2015: EA signs publishing deal with Swedish studio for new IP Unravel

EA has signed a deal with small Swedish studio Coldwood Interactive to publish its new IP Unravel.

The game, revealed during EA’s E3 press conference, is a puzzle platformer based on a character made of yarn. As the character moves, it leaves behind a trail of yarn. Creative director Martin Sahlin described it as a thread “that runs through someone’s life”.

The physics-based title is being developed by a team of 14 people. The studio has previously worked on games such as PlayStation Move Fitness and Ski-doo Snowmobile Challenge.

Unravel is planned for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. No release date was announced during the show.
