Hendrik Lesser replaces former incumbent Guillaume de Fondaumieré

EGDF elects Remote Control Productions MD as new president

The European Game Developer Federation has elected the MD of Remote Control Productions as its new president.

Hendrik Lesser, also a representative of the German developer association GAME, replaces former incumbent, Quantic Dream’s Guillaume de Fondaumieré.

Other board members on the EGDF include TIGA CEO Richard Wilson, KooPee Hiltunen, of Finnish association Neogames, and new board member Jan Neiiendam from the Danish producers’ association.

"I’m honoured to be the next president of EGDF and I’m looking forward to taking the organisation to the next level", said Lesser.

”Improving and expanding the organisational structure and getting it ready for the interesting years to come is going to be a key priority for us, as is working on securing public funding for European game developers. Last, but certainly not least we will be influencing of the new rules that are currently being prepared for consumer protection."
