New strategy game currently in the works at firm's new mobile division

Eutechnyx working on Warhammer 40,000 mobile game

A new partnership has been signed between Eutechnyx and Games Workshop that will see the former developer a new Warhammer title for PC and mobile platforms.

The game, entitled Storm of Vengeance, is described as a "lane strategy" title, and is set in the popular futuristic universe of Warhammer 40,000. Players will be tasked with defending a planet with just 100 Dark Angel Space Marines.

It is being developed by the firm’s new mobile division and will be released in the first quarter of 2014. It follows the success of Eutechnyx’s strategy game Ninja Cats vs Samurai Dogs.

"Storm of Vengeance sees Eutechnyx working with one of the most established brands in gaming," said Eutechnyx CEO Darren Jobling.

"I am very excited that our new partnership with Games Workshop will allow us to bring the world of Warhammer 40,000 to dedicated fans around the world via our new mobile division."
