Audio software bolstered with more than 80,000 game-ready assets priced at 99 cents

FMOD Studio adds royalty-free sound library

FMOD has launched a new integrated sound library for game developers.

Firelight Technologies claims that FMOD.io is the first sound library to be added to a professional editing suite – its FMOD Studio software.

The resource features more than 80,000 game-ready audio assets sourced from Soundrangers and Sound Ideas, all costing 99 cents each.

The sounds are royalty-free, and can be used in as many projects as developers like at no extra cost – including VR titles. They can also be altered freely.

Devs can drag-and-drop the files into FMOD Studio, before subsequently inserting them into engines such as Unreal and Unity that feature FMOD Studio support.
