Free game offer on XBLA

Users of Microsoft’s Xbox Live service will be able to log in and download a free Live Arcade title called Dash of Destruction today – thanks to a Doritos competition held last year.

Doritos Unlock Xbox was won by Mike Borland, and his prize was to see experienced XBLA developer NinjaBee, the studio behind the likes of Cloning Clyde and Kingdom for Keflings, develop his game idea.

The result sees gamers taking control of a Tyrannosaurus Rex chasing trucks containing shipments of Doritos. The title also supports up to three players online, with some controlling dinosaurs and other controlling the trucks.

The download is due to go live today.
