New Southeast Asia office will oversee local language and live support

Gamevil opens Singapore office

Mobile games firm Gamevil has established a foothold in Southeast Asia with a new office in Singapore.

The new branch will be focused on providing local language and live support to its customers in the region, according to GamesIndustry.

"Southeast Asia is one of the fastest growing markets in the world in terms of smartphone penetration and has a solid history of gaming on multiple platforms," said Gamevil USA president Kyu Lee.

Gamevil Singapore MD Joerg Tente added: "It’s a truly significant step for Gamevil to increase its global reach and Asia Pacific footprint, which is decisive for developer partners and for the huge player base in the region.

"Luckily, we can build upon the company’s excellent reputation and grow off of fully localised products and services. Gamers in Southeast Asia can expect some stunning things to come their way."

Gamevil already has operations in Seoul and Beijing, as well as Los Angeles.
