Developer dispatches senior staff to trade event; awaits OnLive announcements

GDC â??essential to attendâ??, says Cohort

Dundee-based indies Cohort Studios is eagerly awaiting next week’s GDC event, and has sent out senior staff for networking and meetings.

The firm’s CEO, Lol Scragg, said the event is “essential to attend”.

He said, “the social and networking side alone is crucial to maintain a leading position in the current industry.”

Scragg said he was particularly interested to see what happens at the OnLive Seminar.

“OnLive’s potential to shake the industry to its core is as real as it was last year,” he said.

“Only now we should be hearing a lot more about the scale of the service roll-out and the content in place for launch.”
