New PR manager for EA Games Label

EA UK has announced that Sophie Orlando has been promoted to PR manager for the EA Games label. More specifically, she will handle PR duties on all titles from BioWare, Visceral and DICE.

Orlando fills the gap left by Jon Goddard, who departed for EA’s European PR team last month. She will be working alongside Jodie Van Hibb who takes up a new role as PR manager on titles including Medal of Honor, Need for Speed and Harry Potter.

Orlando was also featured in MCV’s popular annual ‘30 Under 30‘ feature last year.

I’m thrilled for Sophie,” UK PR director Simon Smith-Wright stated. She’s a true PR guru in the making who really knows her games and builds deep and valuable relationships with media in multiple sectors as well as with our studios and creative leaders.

We have an incredibly exciting year ahead of us with the EA Games Label portfolio and both Jodie and Sophie make a great team to lead it.”

EA is currently recruiting for the role of publicist within the EA UK PR department.
