Shanghai event unveils details of expert panel

GDC China advisory board named

The organisers of GDC China have revealed details of the conference’s advisory board.

Confirmed board members include industry veterans from a number of high-profiel companies, including NetEase, XPEC Entertainment, Ubisoft Shanghai and Shanda Games – the Shanghai-based licensed publisher of MapleStory, Ragnarok Online, Dungeons & Dragons Online and many others.

"GDC China is the ideal venue to explore the groundbreaking frontier of Chinese game development," said Meggan Scavio, event director for GDC China, "and there’s no group better qualified to act as our guides than the expert developers and executives of the GDC China advisory board."

"They helped craft the content that makes GDC China the must-attend event for anyone interested in the Chinese game industry."

This year’s GDC China takes place for the second times at the Shanghai International Convention Center, and runs from October 11th to 13th. For more information about the event, click here.
