October date set for gathering of Chinese and international developers

GDC China returning for 2009

Think Services’ GDC China is to return in 2009, bringing together developers from across the globe in Shanghai.

"We are excited to return to Shanghai in October to repeat the success of our launch event in 2007," said event director Meggan Scavio. "In true GDC spirit, this event will present attendees with the knowledge, skills and networking opportunities to help them get a head start in the burgeoning Chinese games industry."

The first GDC China since the inaugural event in 2007, the conference has secured endorsement from key government agencies associated with the industry, and is supported by an advisory board which includes members from Shanda and Epic Games China.

For more information on the event, which takes place from October 11th to 13th 2009, visit the official website.
