The media empire and its new social studio to reveal all at the key trade event

GDC Online boasts Disney and Playdom talks

Big names are signing up as speakers for this year’s GDC Online event.

Disney, and its new $763.2 million acquisition Playdom, will both be offering speaker sessions at the event. As will Zynga, a Facebook gaming studio that is growing at fearsome pace and is a routine subject of controversy.

The standout event boasts a wide range of focused summit programmes, with topics of discussion including stereoscopic 3D, iPhone and iPad game development, and game narrative.

The event runs October 5th to 8th in Austin, Texas.
