'Successful motion controller remains part of Sony's plans for the future'

GDC: PlayStation Move sales soar past ten million

Sales of Sony’s PlayStation Move have soared past ten million, the console giant has revealed.

As reported by Gameinformer, Sony’s support engineer Gabe Ahn said the motion controller had been “successful” for the company, and that Move would be part of its plans for the future.

He did not confirm however if this meant the device would be used in its rumoured next-gen console.

Move was launched in September 2010 as part of Sony’s plans to compete with the success of the Nintendo Wii.
