Rock Band and Dance Central dev teams up with Tilting Point

Harmonix signs mobile games deal

Harmonix has signed a new deal to develop multiple mobile games for publisher Tilting Point.

The studio that created Rock Band and Guitar Hero has already developed a few mobile games, but now hopes to bring more music-based titles to smartphones and tablets.

Nick Chester, Harmonix’s publicist, said the deal with Tilting Point presents "an opportunity for us to work with an amazing partner as we continue to develop and bring to market new and innovative music experiences", according to Eurogamer.

He continued: "We’ve already begun development of our first title to be produced under the partnership – a music-influenced game designed for mobile platforms."

Independent publisher Tilting Point is best known for bringing Senri’s mobile game Leo’s Fortune and Signal Studios’ The Sleeping Prince to market.
