Kalypso hiring for new mobile office in Hamburg

German publisher/developer Kalypso Media has opened a new office dedicated to mobile games.

The branch, based in Hamburg, will develop new titles for iOS and Android. Kalypso Media mobile is currently seeking "professionals interested in publishing, mobile marketing and mobile producing".

Kalypso has also hired Marcus Behrens (pictured) as publishing director for the new mobile division. Behrens previously held a senior position at Bigpoint Games, before which he worked at Eidos’ Hamburg and London offices.

"It’s not every day we get the chance to build a brand new division," says Behrens. "I’m really looking forward to bringing my experience and knowledge to the business and successfully implementing it into the company.

"In addition to the already successful established Kalypso brands, we want to support new IPs and developers in their projects as a publisher. At Kalypso Media Mobile in Hamburg we have a great opportunity."
