Layoffs reported at Kixeye

Mobile and browser games developer Kixeye has suffered a round of layoffs, reports claim.

Gamasutra reports that an unspecified number of employees have been let go from the San Francisco studio. It is also unknown how these layoffs will affect the company and its ongoing operations.

Kixeye, best known for strategy titles such as Vega Conflict (pictured) and War Commander, already laid off several developers back in January.

Word of the latest layoffs first emerged as several members of other online games firms posted condolences and job opportunities aimed at Kixeye staff via Twitter:
