Group positions for expansion as it focuses on motion tracking technologies

Lightning Fish moves to larger UK base

UK indie studio Lightning Fish Games has moved its offices in Banbury to better accommodate future expansion.

A statement issued by the developer says that the move will allow the firm to expand the range of titles it is developing, adding that the Lightning Fish team is working on motion tracking technology for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

“We have found that Banbury has a wide appeal to our staff as it is not only set in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, but it is also easily accessible from London, Birmingham or Oxford,” said studio CEO Simon Prytherch.

He added that the studio is looking for individuals that wish to further their career in the exciting areas of motion tracking and image analysis.

“We are adding two new teams to the existing team, so we can expand into new genres where we want to set new standards of creativity, quality and excellence. If you are looking for a new challenge then this is a great time to join our ambitious young company.”
