Game of Thrones: Ascent dev hires form CCP marketing VP

New CMO for Disruptor Beam

Disrupter Beam has hired Pete Arden as its new chief marketing officer.

The studio – best known for browser and mobile title Game of Thrones: Ascent – is currently putting the finishing touches on Star Trek Timelines, and has brought Arden on board to both promote this new game and plan ahead for its unannounced titles.

Arden previously served as VP of marketing at Eve Online studio CCP Games. Prior to this he worked at Trion Worlds and was the owner of his own firm Hex15 Consulting, according to GamesIndustry.

“Mobile and social gaming is the ‘next frontier’ of the games industry, and I am thrilled that my next chapter will be with one of the most innovative, up-and-coming game companies in the industry,” he said.

“The quality of the franchises that Disruptor Beam has partnered with is second to none, and I am excited for the challenge of growing the company’s existing titles and launching many exciting games to come.”
