Indie studio behind Unbox relocates ahead of Steam Greenlight campaign

New Manchester studio for Prospect Games

UK independent developer Prospect Games has moved to a new studio in Manchester.

The self-funded firm has also expanded its team and is nearing completion of its bizarre game Unbox, in which players control a self-delivering cardboard box.

Prospect was founded in 2013 by Andrew Bennison, Jack Bognar and Tim Sherliker, all alumni of Salford University and experienced in various aspects of games development.

“We’re delighted to take this next step on our journey, and our new Manchester location will form the foundations for a fresh, vibrant and dynamic working space for our staff, and drive focus on creating compelling experiences,” said Bennison.

“As we continue the development of Unbox, and future products, we have a space that allows us to fulfil our ambitions and provide room with which to grow.”

The team is due to launch a Steam Greenlight campaign for Unbox next week.
