PlayFab appoints Chris Donahue as developer relations director

PlayFab has appointed former OnLive exec Chris Donahue as its director of developer relations.

Donahue will be responsible for growing the company’s customer base and will work with developers on using its services. After launching last August, PlayFab currently has just under 400 companies using its back-end services and tools.

The new developer relations director has previous experience in similar roles, having worked as the director of publisher relations at game streaming firm OnLive between 2010 and 2012.

Donahue has also held roles at Wasteland 2 developer InXile Entertainment, marketing firm Elevate Partners and Microsoft.
