Pair get expanded remit as President Ryan's role takes on a global remit

Sony reorganisation sees Rutter and Stokes in new roles

Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe have reorganised their senior management team, promoting Tim Stoke to senior VP of sales commercial and operations and Simon Rutter to chief operating officer.

This shake up started after SIEE president Jim Ryan was moved into a role overseeing sales and marketing for PlayStation at a global level as part of a bigger reshuffle that’s seeing Sony’s Playstation team become more globalised.

Stokes will be managing sales, commercial and operations, while Rutter’s new role will see him overseeing marketing, finance, IT, legal, HR, content and third party relationships.

Ryan is continuing with his role as President of PlayStation Europe, but as his role now has extra global elements attached, the new roles for Rutter and Stokes will see them having an expanded remit, although very little is expected to change for third party partners.
