Starbound developer Chucklefish is opening a new office in London.

The game’s developers plan to move into the office in the next two-to-three weeks to help boost productivity on the sandbox adventure title, and will also reserve temporary office space for games that it will publish and assist on.

"It’s a very exciting time for us, we’ll finally be working in the same room right in front of each other and our productivity is going to improve massively as a result," said Starbound creator Finn Brice.

"We also intend to provide some temporary office space for the games we publish and assist on."

Chucklefish is currently helping out on indie titles including Stardew Valley, Halfway, Treasure Adventure World and Wanderlust Adventures.

"We’d like to progress more in this space and assist indie developers make their games profitable without giving away huge percentages of their income away to predatory publishers," said Brice.

He also revealed the studio would be working on a new game alongside Starbound, developed by an entirely new team at the studio, and is currently looking for staff.
