Developer's latest project 'made no revenue'

Stormfront Studios closes doors

Stormfront Studios, known for its work on movie licenced properties such as The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Spiderwick Chronicles, has officially closed down according to a report by Next-Gen.biz.

The studio, headed by industry conference circuit regular Don Daglow, had apparently had problems securing future projects and was seeing no revenue from its most recent title.

The studio’s 33 staff were told the news on Monday and, according to Kotaku, will receive no severance package or further health benefits.
