Telltale’s Crowd Play ‘unsuitable for Twitch’

Many assumed that the online multiplayer in Telltale’s upcoming Batman game would be perfect for streaming services like Twitch, but developer Telltale insists this isn’t the case.

The firm has made an update to its blog post announcing the feature, saying that due to the high level of latency introduced by Twitch means that it will be impossible for thousands of people to make choices.

The logic here is that players will not be seeing the same game at the same time. Instead the company says the perfect number of participants is four to 12 people.
