Toon Boom names Michel Besner as president

Toon Boom Animation has hired former Autodesk executive Michel Besner as president.

He takes up the position left vacant by former CEO and president Joan Vogelesang, who left the company in September last year after 16 years at the helm.

The appointment of Besner will take place effective immediately.

Montreal-based Toon Boom is behind tools such as Storyboard Pro and 2D animation toolset Harmony. It recently released Harmony 12 and its first ever-Unity plug-in, which you can read about here.
