User-generated gaming arena revealed; built across TrackMania 2 and more

Ubi’s ManiaPlanet UGC platform unveiled

Ubisoft has announced it will launch a new online community towards the end of the year that will be based solely on user-generated content.

ManiaPlanet was first revealed during the publisher’s E3 press conference and unites fans of Nadeo’s Mania titles with its accessible toolset and focus on popular genres.

The service will debut with the launch of the TrackMania 2 beta in Q4 2010, which allows users to create their own tracks and cars.
