E3 2011: Five titles already confirmed for new Nintendo console

Ubisoft backs Wii U with new games rush

Ubisoft has positioned itself in a position of significant support for the newly announced Wii U, with five separate titles from the studio already confirmed for release on the studio.

Of the titles, three are based in multiplatform franchises; Assassin’s Creed, Raving Rabbids and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online.

It is as yet unconfirmed if they will be Wii U versions of games released across the console platforms, or if they will be specially adapted IP titles for the new console as was usually the case with the Wii.

The two other confirmed titles are a casual sports title in a similar vein to Wii Sports, and a new, core-focused first-person shooter.
