E3 2011: Kotick sceptical of Battlefield 3 for consoles

Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has cast doubts over recent video demonstrations of rival project Battlefield 3.

The publishing exec was cautious not to join in on the widespread acclaim for the Modern Warfare 3 rival – particularly due to its graphical sophistication – and believes questions still hang over how the game will perform on consoles.

So far I’ve only seen Battlefield 3 on a PC, I haven’t seen it on a console where the bulk of our business is,” he said.
