Ubisoft Toronto opens performance capture studio

Ubisoft has opened a new performance capture studio in Toronto to suppoer the developer of high-quality games.

The publisher said the new facility would unite expertise from both the film and games industries to create more, cinematic, actor driven, immersive storytelling.

The studio will be used to film scenes for Ubisoft Toronto’s upcoming title Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist, as well as other titles being created at the publisher’s 26 other studios.
