US: Microsoft announces Xbox Live Black Friday savings

With the USA today busy celebrating Thanksgiving, Microsoft has announced a range of discounts beginning tomorrow and running until Sunday evening for users of its Xbox Live Marketplace.

Headlining the discounts are savings of 300 Microsoft Points on XBLA titles Rez HD, Arkadian Warriors, Catan, Brain Challenge, Boogie Bunnies and Golf: Tee It Up. Each of these will now cost 500 MS Points.

There are also savings to be had on DLC packs for the likes of Forza Motorsport 2, Crackdown, Lips and Rockband, as well as cuts to the cost of themes based on Gears of War 2, Sonic Unleashed and Castle Crashers.
