Boston Major brackets revealed

The brackets for the main event of the Boston Major have been revealed, with Wings and EG facing off in the first round. 

Yes the two previous winners of The International will face off, meaning one will be going home in last place thanks to the single elimination format. Other first round match ups on that side of the bracket include Virtus Pro vs Invictus Gaming. Vitality, compLexity vs WG.Unity and OG vs MVP. 

The other half of the bracket is made up of Digital Chaos vs Faceless, EHOME vs Team NP, Newbee vs Ad Finem and LGD vs LGD.FY. 

The Boston Major is the first major event to use a single elimination bracket, meaning if a team loses from now on they are out of the competition. With $3 million up for grabs this has caused a lot of issues with the pro players, and with one of either Wings or EG, arguably two of the top five teams in the world, guaranteed a last place finish you can see why.
