HellRaisers CS:GO team sign two year contract extensions

The HellRaisers CS:GO team has been one of the rising stars of the scene over the past couple of months, and this past weekend they transitioned their incredible online form into a surprising top four finish at StarLadder. Off the back of that result all five players on the team have signed contract extensions until 2018.

Kirill ‘ANGE1’ Karasiow, Vladyslav ‘bondik’ Nechyporchuk, Martin ‘STYKO’ Styk, Patrik ‘Zero’ Žúdel and Bence ‘DeadFox’ Böröcz will all stay with the team until the end of 2018 providing they see out their contracts. This is a massive step for the players, and one that gives them some much needed security.

It is also a good sign for the scene on a whole, as longer contracts are starting to become a normality across many titles now. This should put an end to last minute roster changes and players screwing organisations over by leaving unannounced.

“It’s not a secret for anybody that many teams are interested in our players,” said HellRaisers CEO Maksym Bednarsky. “I’m glad that we’ve been able to keep the current roster without any changes and to conclude new agreements with all the players. The current shape of the players shows that each of our guys has great potential to perform at the highest level. The long-term agreements will help the team be more focused on the upcoming tournaments. Cheer for HellRaisers!”
